canine behaviour and dog training

About DogWorks

DogWorks was established in 2013, when Jo sold her previous dog training business in Brighton, and moved back home to Jersey.

Having run School for Dogs in Brighton since 2006, Jo was sure there was a niche for DogWorks in Jersey - and she was right!

Jo clearly knows her stuff, which instills confidence.

Jo has over ten years of experience in the field of canine behaviour and training.

Jo has a particular interest in gundog training, and is passionate about introducing 'pet' owners to gundog work and seeing them discover a deeper bond with their dog.

As a qualified behaviourist and CBATI, Jo regularly works with dog-aggression and reactivity.

Jo is an Accredited Assessor for the Gundog Club and has successfully competed in UK gundog events with her own dogs. Please check out the Galody Gundogs website for more details.

Jo is on the Kennel Club's A1 list as a Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizen examiner.

In her ‘spare time’(!), Jo is writing a book about force-free gundog training.

Jo has run seminars for other dog trainers and dog-related organisations. If you’d like Jo to talk at your event, please get in touch.
Jo provides a huge amount of support, alongside the actual classes.
